Soft Tissue / Remedial Massage / Deep tissue
Remedial massage is a deep / soft tissue treatment used to address a specific problem with the primary goal to reduce pain. A hands-on advanced range of techniques will be used with the aim to facilitate a change to the soft tissue layers, from superficial too deep with the primary goal to reduce pain. This could be triggered by day to day movements, posture imbalances, working, motherhood, injuries, post operative and much more..
The focus is on working the layers of muscle tissue, tendons and fascia to restore functional movement and encourage postural change. Soft tissue work will help to restore correct muscle tone, symmetry and balance with the goal of realigning the soft tissue influence on joint position which can help posture.
Massage treatments are all bespoke to the client’s needs.
Treatments combine clinical assessment with general massage and advanced soft tissue techniques such as:
Muscle Energy Technique
Soft Tissue Release
Fascial Release Technique
Positional Release Technique
